Posted on: August 18th, 2008 AC/DC and The Man???

It’s been more than 25 years since the corporations have sucked the life-force out of rock music, but never in my wildest dreams did i ever expect AC/DC and the world’s largest retailer to jump into bed together, but apparently hell has frozen over. If you want the new AC/DC album the only place to get it is, Wal-Mart. If the thought of stepping into a Wal-Mart repels you, it can be pre-ordered starting today on walmart.com, samsclub.com and acdc.com. The album, titled “Black Ice”, is available for $11.88. The Brendan O’Brien-produced LP, the band’s first in eight years, isn’t due in Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club stores until October 20th, and the first single “Rock ‘N’ Roll Train” hits August 28th.
