Posted on: August 13th, 2008 Rock Hall Rolls to NYC

Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced today that The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is hitting the road and opening an annex in downtown Manhattan.  This is the first time the museum has built any type of presence outside of it’s home in Cleveland.  Plans are also in place to open additional annexes in Las Vegas (makes sense) and the Middle East (say what?). The idea is to create additional revenue streams as well as to get more people to visit the Rock Hall in Cleveland.  Good luck with that.
